Weddings make our hearts sing! Two people celebrating their love for each other in front of their closest family and friends. Being asked to create wedding florals, for this most special day, is an absolute honour.
Our relaxed approach allows us to get to know couples as we embark on our floral journey together. The first step involves coffee and lots of talking….about your initial ideas, your chosen venue and your preferred theme, if you have one. (Don’t worry if you don’t – that’s where we can help.) We then create a bespoke Floral Proposal – just for you. If you say ‘yes’, we then reserve the date for you and the journey continues.
Although we are almost fully booked for 2022, our 2023 diary is open and we do have a few dates still available for 2022. If you would like to start a floral journey with us, simply pick up the phone, drop us an email or find us on Instagram. (We have been so busy with all things floral that our website is still a work in progress!). Wishing you a very happy floral journey. Sally & Nic
Your wedding is the most special of days, the most wonderful day of your life. Everything about it should be perfect. And this most definitely includes the flowers. And each wedding is unique, which is why each Green Room bride enjoys a personal, one-to-one consultation service with Daisy, our wonderful ‘WAD’ (Wedding Awesomeness Director).
You may have a head full of themes and ideas, or you may not have a clue in the world. Either way, Daisy will guide you through the exciting process of making fabulous floral choices. And now, for the first time, these include a range of eco-friendly options.
At Willow & Blossom we work closely with our couples to come up with beautiful and unique wedding designs to suit the look and feel of your special day. Our bespoke wedding proposals are perfect for those who want to be fully involved in the process. Your bespoke proposal will be put together after we have had an initial consultation to discuss all of your floral dream
We are also able to provide you with a proposal via email before discussing in more detail.
My love of flowers started at a young age with being involved with Young Farmers Competitions. In particular the Floral Art, which I won several times at County Level and also went onto National level to compete against Young Farmers from across the Country.
I trained at De Montfort University at the Riseholme Campus near Lincoln and gained a National Diploma in Floristry and then a Higher National Diploma in Floristry Management & Interior Styling.
I worked in London for a while. But missing the green fields of Leicestershire I came back to my home county and bought a flower shop which I owned for 6 years in the picturesque Rutland. I currently work from a workshop near Market Harborough concentrating more on the Wedding, Party and Sympathy side of floristry.
Inspired by my tiny, feisty, florist Grandma, I have been passionate about flowers my entire life. Whilst training at Pullbrook & Gould in London many moons ago I unearthed a real love for beautiful flowers and free flowing composition, this amazing apprenticeship has enabled me to travel all over the world creating florals.
Now based in beautiful Rutland I flower weddings & parties all over the East Midlands. My ethos is based on a desire to make each bride and groom fulfil their dream day whilst embracing the seasons. I'm also a keen gardener & try to enhance my designs with the flowers and foliage's I grow.
